Albert Einstein postulated, “Imagination is more than knowledge” “However before most artists can begin to produce artworks from imagination, they need to establish the knowledge base from which they will work. The simplest starting point for this is to select a theme to investigate and creativity develop your concepts and art forms from there”.

My creative study draws from the repository of my ancestral African iconography, which is creatively reconstructed into core motifs for my artistic self-expression. Inferring from the rich artistic iconographic Ghanaian Adinkra muftis and conceptual systems, my paintings lean largely on these appropriated motifs and concepts in the reconstruction/deconstruction of my composition in varied styles and techniques in diverse media. In this era of varied new media, each with its strength and peripatetic weaknesses, in my attempt to explore the relationship between acquired synaesthesia and the paradox of human existence (existentialism), my works draws on varied influences and foundations.
E.g. Faulcon thoughts on culture and the raw unsettling imagery of Wiz Kudowor.

Building on these inspirations, new synergies emerge from the visual reconstruction of my ancestral idioms, symbols, and philosophy of the arts, which are synchronised with the modern realities of our time.

My paintings are an exploration of my curiosity, tackling images that some may find strange, obscure, or even obscene. My fascination with such peculiarities is reflected in my paints without any apology.
Every item contains a portion of myself, and every piece I create is made to make meaning to emotions and thoughts.

From canvas to canvas the viewer is left with memories and an epitaph to reflect on.
